UTM Party Youth in Education Promotion Exercise as they Donate 100 Primary School Uniforms in BT

The United Transformation Movement (UTM) Party Youth Wing has on Tuesday donated 100 primary school uniforms to needy children at Namasimba primary school at Nancholi township in the commercial city Blantyre.

The development however was aimed at complementing government efforts of promoting education in the country

Speaking during the event, leader of UTM party youth Penjani Kaluwa alias ‘Fredokis’ in the Music fraternity, said the group thought it wise to donate the school uniforms after noticing that many of the learners at the school are struggling to access a school uniform at the school.

Fredokiss further disclosed that apart from distributing school uniforms at the school he personally is also constructing a school block at the said school in order to ease congestion.

Meanwhile, deputy headteacher for Namasimba primary school Aness Mpokwa Maliro has hailed Fredokiss through UTM party youth for the kind gesture while acknowledging that the help will go a long way in helping the needy students overcome their challenges.
