Kenneth Kaunda’s funeral ceremony underway in Zambia

Late Kenneth Kaunda’s State funeral is under way at Lusaka Show Grounds in Zambia.
President Lazarus Chakwera is in attendance.
In his speech at the funeral Chakwera has asked fellow African leaders to unite and uphold Kaunda’s legacy.
Kaunda died at the Military Hospital on Thursday, June 17, 2021 after suffering from pneumonia.
Burial will be on 7th July 2021 at the Presidential Embassy.
