Secretary for health, Dr. Charles Mwansambo, says tomorrow Friday, Malawi shall receive 115,200 more doses of AstraZeneca vaccine.
The plane carrying the vaccine donation shall arrive Kamuzu International Airport 16.05 hrs.
One hundred and sixty thousand eight hundred more AstraZeneca doses are expected in in the next two weeks, according to Dr. Mwansambo.
A total of 636, 000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses will have come into Malawi in August alone when 360, 000 more arrive end this month.
The first-ever donation of Pfizer vaccine, 372, 000 doses, will be in Malawi end September.
