3 Kenyan women hide gold in vaginal & rectal cavities, arrested by NCB

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested 3 Kenyan women at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Wednesday and seized 3 packets containing gold. Reportedly, the trio had hidden 17 pieces of gold in their vaginal and rectal cavities.

According to news agency ANI, the NCB has recovered 937.78 grams of gold from the trio. The case has been handed over to the Customs department for further probe.

Further probe into the case is underway. 

Four passengers arriving from UAE nabbed with gold biscuits worth Rs 47 lakh at airport 

In June this year, four men, arriving from the UAE, were arrested at the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru for allegedly smuggling gold biscuits from Sharjah. Reportedly, the accused had hidden the gold inside their undergarments and wallets.

The four men arrived at the Bengaluru airport via Air Arabia flight G9496 from Sharjah, UAE. When they were stopped for passenger profiling, one of them informed the authorities that he was a native of Karnataka, while the others said that they hailed from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The officials grew suspicious of the accused during their interaction and carried out a search. It was during the search that the sleuths found two gold pieces hidden in their undergarments, bags, and wallets. The officials seized 938 gm of gold biscuits from the accused.
