Mchacha, Vuwa Kaunda and Muhara back in court

A case involving former cabinet ministers Charles Mchacha and Symon Vuwa Kaunda along with former Chief Secretary to the Government Lloyd Muhara, and former Ministry of Defence Secretary Bright Kumwembe is continuing this morning at the High Court in Lilongwe.

The state is today expected to parade two more witnesses, after finishing parading its first witness yesterday.

Evidence given so far, is on how Mchacha managed to acquire land within Kanjedza Forest Reserve, which the state believes was done illegally.

The four are however accused of inducing a public officer to perform functions corruptly, use of insulting language, giving false information and neglecting official duty.
