Cab driver equips his car with stones and catapult to defend himself from unknown gunmen, hoodlums

A Nigerian man has shared the story of how met a taxi driver who equipped his car with stones and a catapult, which he intends to use to defend himself amid rising cases of insecurity in the country.

The narrator known as Da Mayor on Twitter, said he entered the man’s car and noticed the stones inside the cup holder close to the gear.

He asked what it was for, and the driver explained that it was for security purposes. He also showed him a catapult to be used in self defence against hoodlums and thugs.

Da Mayor shared a photo of the car interior and wrote:

”When I saw those stones, I couldn’t help buh to ask the driver why he had so many stones in his car.

He talked about the insecurity of the country and then showed me his catapult, man said he isn’t going down without a fight, if anything sup for streets.”
