Vice President Of Dangote Group Is No more

Sani Dangote, the vice president of the Dangote Group and Aliko Dangote’s brother, has died at the age of 61.

Mr. Dangote passed away in the United States on Sunday after a long illness, according to Nigerian news outposts.

Mr. Dangote, who was less well-known than his billionaire brother, has investments in manufacturing, agricultural, banking, and oil services, among other things.

He served on the boards of directors for a number of firms, including Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, Dangote Agro Sacks, Dangote Refinery, Dangote Petrochemical, and Dangote Fertilizer.

He was most recognized for his work as chairman of Dansa Holdings, a beverage-producing subsidiary of the Dangote Group that he founded.

His other businesses included Dansa Energy, Sagas Energy, Bulk Pack Services, Dangote Agro-Allied, and Dangote Farms. Dangote was born in Nigeria and grew up in the United Kingdom.

The Nigerian-born businessman was a member of many chambers, as well as a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Shipping.
