Kenya fraternity are mourning their renowned spinmaster, DJ Lithium, born Alex Nderi who committed suicide at Capital FM offices in Nairobi.
Reports indicate that that DJ Lithium took rat poison on Wednesday, 19 January 2022.
According to local online news website, BOOM.UG, the celebrated DJ pulled down his social media accounts and wrote a suicide note which partly said “I’m gone”, before taking the poison.
Ndyeri’s colleagues at work found him unconscious minutes after he had digested the poison. They called for help and he was taken to Nairobi Hospital where efforts to save his life became futile and he passed on.
“The circumstances surrounding Alex’s death are a family matter which has been taken over by relevant authorities,” Capital FM’s management revealed in a statement.
