Convicted For Defiling 9-Year-Old Stepdaughter

Stuart Kalungama has been convicted by the Lilongwe Chief Resident Magistrate Patrick Chirwa for defiling his 9-year old stepdaughter 5 times.

It is believed that Stuart committed the offence on or around 28th February last year.

The State managed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the accused committed the offence after it paraded its four witnesses.

Meanwhile, both Defense and State have asked to be given 14 days to make their sentencing submissions.

Chirwa has since adjourned the matter to a later day for sentencing.
