DPP kayuni Faces PAC

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Steve Kayuni is this morning appearing before the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs where he will take questions on why he denied giving consent to the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to prosecute Ashok Nair, Zuneth Sattar’s business agent, and four others.
The DPP last week denied the ACB consent to proceed with the prosecution for the lack of full investigation report
Ashok Nair and the four are suspected to be involved in some dubious land deals masterminded by Zuneth Sattar.
