Irate Chinsapo Residents Demolish House Of Teacher Over Death Of Standard 7 Student

An angry community has demolished the house of a Standard 7 teacher at Chankhandwe Primary School in Chinsapo, Likuni, looting property after a Standard 7 learner committed suicide.

Lilongwe Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Foster Benjamin says the boy hang himself a few minutes after the school’s management told him that he had been expelled from the institution due to his conduct.

He was allegedly playing a video game while classes were in session.
