Castel Malawi Lilongwe plant employees on rampage

Information reaching this publication indicates that employees of Castel Malawi Lilongwe plant are staging a sit-in to force management to pay them severance pay following sale of soft drinks to Coke group.
The sit-in follows an announcement by Human Resource Director Naomi Nyirenda that they won’t give the employees severance pay.
The disgruntled employees have since sealed the main entrance pallets of crates. Some of the employees are chanting songs in anger.
