Zomba Police arrest six over breaking and theft

Police in Zomba have arrested six suspects in connection to breaking into houses where some valuable items were stolen.

Police have also recovered some of the stolen items such as laptops and solar panels.

Police received complaints from various people and instituted investigations that led to the arrests of the 6 in question.

The suspects were found at different locations within Zomba whilst offering for sale the stolen items.

Among items recovered are; three laptops, two solar panels, two solar torches and a bunch of keys and have been identified by the owners.

The suspects are expected to appear before the court to answer breaking and theft charges.
