Anti-Martha Chizuma demonstrations on in Lilongwe

Some Malawians led by a grouping trading under the banner’ Mzika Zokhudwa’ have started gathering at the office of District Commissioner in Lilongwe in redness for peaceful demonstrations against Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Martha Chizuma.
The grouping wants Chizuma to resign from her post over a leaked audio and suspicious release of Ashok Nair from police cell.
The protesters will march from the DC’s office to Parliament where they will deliver a petition on the matter.
A visit to the place Faceofmalawi reporter bumped into some trucks full of people being ferried to the venue of the demonstrations.
This has attracted mixed reactions with many claiming that some prominent figures are sponsoring the demonstrations.
