Angry mob chops off legs of suspected thief in Mulanje

A suspected thief is battling for his life at Nsanje District Hospital after an angry mob amputated both his feet last night.

Community members allege that the man was caught stealing.

The suspect was then dumped close to Nyamadzere primary school along the Bangula- Nsanje road and was discovered this morning by passersby.

Nsanje police spokesperson, Sub Inspector Agnes Zalakoma asked for more time.
