Mzuzu City Council employee summoned for holding sole vigils

Mzuzu City Council employee Ndinawe Mtambo who held solo vigils for late payment of salaries at the council from 30 May 2022- 1 June 2021 has been summoned for disciplinary hearing.
The disciplinary hearing is scheduled for this coming Friday.
An internal memo seen by this publication say Mtambo has been summoned because she embarrassed the office of the Chief Executive Officer and converting council asset to personal use.
Mtambo is yet to comment on the matter.
