Malawi’s 49th independence celebrations are scheduled for Lilongwe, with interdenominational prayers on Friday at the Bingu International Conference Centre in Lilongwe.
And the climax of the celebrations will be on Saturday, with a friendly football match between the Flames and Mozambique at the CIVO stadium. The Queens will play Zambia.
