31 Percent Of Malawians Spend Time On Pornography – Macra Says

According to this year’s Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) data base, 31.4 percent of Malawians spend time on pornographic website, watching and downloading the materials.
This despite the fact that the communications regulatory board issued a warning on sharing and filming pornographic content on the internet.
Macra, has therefore urged Malawians to heedful of the laws governing the same.
According to Macra this how Malawians have used the internet.
37.6% – Social Media sites (Facebook, WhatsApp, Tiktok, Instagram and Instagram … in that order)
31.4% – Pornography websites
20% – Betting (Premier Bet, Worldstar)
4 % – YouTube
2.1 % – Netflix, Spotify & DSTV
1.8 % – News and Educational Websites
3.1 % – Other
