First lady Monica Chakwera crowned Save the Children Ambassador

First Lady, Her Excellency Madame Monica Chakwera has been crowned as Ambassador for Save the Children’s Abwenzi A Ana program.

The activity which is celebrating Save the Children Malawi’s 13 year work in Zomba is taking place in Lilongwe.

The organization has been implementing a program called sponsorship in Zomba which was aimed at improving early childhood education in the district.

The first lady will now be the ambassador for the same program which will be implemented in Ntcheu district under the name “Abwenzi a ana,”
