Head teacher arrested for defiling 7 year old pupil in Thyolo

A Head teacher at Suzumira primary school in Thyolo, Rodrick Sanani, has been arrested for allegedly defiling a seven-year-old girl.

Thyolo Police Officer-In-charge, Assistant Commissioner Ulemu Kaluwa has confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press.

According to Kaluwa, a the girl was defiled on Tuesday afternoon in the head teacher’s office when she went to collect a textbook.

Kaluwa said, after reporting the ordeal to her mother and medical examination, Masambanjati police unit arrested the school teacher.

The Head teacher will appear in court soon.
