Police Nab Suspected Kidnappers In Limbe

Two men have been arrested in barely a fortnight after Limbe Police Station arrested two other men for kidnapping an 8-year old boy.

The kidnapping took place in Kanjedza, Blantyre on September 8, 2022.

He was found on September 13, 2022 abandoned at the same location where he was kidnapped.

During the new arrest, law enforcers also arrested two other suspects who were in hiding with the same kidnapping syndicate.

Police are yet to make the connection between the two kidnappers and the two they found hiding with them.

The duo have been identified as Stephano Damison, 38, from Nlapa Village,Traditional Authority Juma in Mulanje and David Nkhata, 47, from Walemela Village, Traditional Authority Kampingosibale in Mzimba.

They have been charged with kidnapping and will appear before court after the completion of paper work.
