Police shoots a man in Dedza

A man aged 28 is in agony nursing bullet wounds at Dedza district hospital after police shot to disable him for allegedly being violent and uncooperating.
The man, identified as Tasizio Dafuleni, allegedly turned violent after a road accident in which two of his close relations were hit and died at Mtakataka.
Village Headman Abraham has told the press that Dafuleni was shot at as he tried to set alight the vehicle which hit the two.
Police are yet to comment on the matter.
