Two men have died as they fought over a woman in Nkhatabay.
Nkhata Bay Police Station Public Relations Officer Kondwani James has identified the two as Christopher Makawa, aged 32, and Justin Tambala, aged 49.
It is reported that Marriam Mwanyali married Tambala for some years, and three years back, Makawa proposed to her, but she refused, but the two men were found fighting on Monday this week.
They were taken to the hospital and pronounced dead upon arrival due to the severe injuries they had suffered.
According to a medical report, the deaths were due to excessive loss of blood.
