A YOUTHFUL Ndola-based Chemical Engineer and graduate of the Copperbelt University, Zambia, Brighton Mfune yesterday took to Facebook, posted final farewell message before taking a pesticide to end his own life.
The 29 year old was also an avid scrabble player afflianted to Copperbelt University.
Mfune posted “Bye bye” on his Facebook account before ending his own life!
Until his death, Mfune who resided in Ndola’s New Mushili worked for Dangote Cement as Chemical Engineer and is survived by his parents and one child.
His friends and former school mates are expressing their shock on social media.
“I saw your post early in the morning… Little did I know it was this kind of bye… This is shocking… Rest In Peace Bro!!!,” wrote Marvin Vexy Mulemena.
Another one of his friends, Sam Banda wrote, 😭😭😭It was hard to interpret ur post this morning “bye bye,”U could hav shared the problem unlike just deciding to leave like that. This is saddest way of solving issues, seeeing u growing as intelligent and respectful child gave us so much hope that u’ll give us bright fruits …May u go well young bro till we meet.
