Officer-In-charge for the department at Dedza border Rodrick Kapitapita has disclosed that disclosed for five months now, the department is not receiving its funding, a development which is compromising its operations.
Kapita made the statement during an interface meeting with members of the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations.
According to Chairperson of the committee Patrick Bandawe, lack of funding is worrisome, the department is supposed to be funded in good time for officers to work effectively.
Bandawe has stressed the need for relevant authorities to provide the funding and provide additional vehicles.
