Winiko calls for Chakwera’s resignation after Payelepayele demonstrations in Mulanje

Former National Youth Director for the United Transformation Movement(UTM) Bon Kalindo has called for the immediate resignation of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for failing to run government affairs.

Kalindo said this after successfully leading protests organized by concerned Citizen in Mulanje.

Speaking with the press Winiko appealed to Malawi’s donor partners to freeze aid to Lilongwe, because those in power are abusing the resources meant for poor citizens.

Kalindo is also suggesting a federal system of government.

The demonstrators are headed for Mulanje Boma to present their petition to the District Commissioner’s office.
