Police officer arrested for defiling 17 year old girl

Nsanje police have arrested one of their own, Sergeant James Luciano of Marka police unit for allegedly defiling a girl aged 17, in a police cell last night.
The district’s police spokesperson, Sub-Inspector Agnes Zalakoma, has confirmed the incident a short while ago.
Zalakoma said the girl was arrested for allegedly committing an offence of conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
She said, the accused police officer Luciano will appear in court soon.
