A robber who robbed about MK20 million from a shop in Lilongwe has had a rude awakening when he was robbed as well of the money he had robbed.
Media reports indicate that the armed robber managed to scare people in Choonara shop in the Capital city and got away with a bag of cash amounting to around MK20 million.
However, when he got out of the shop a mob built up and gave him a chase not for only the money but also dear life.
Sensing danger, the robber dropped the bag to just save his life and the trick really worked as the people stopped chasing him and scrambled for the cash he had dropped in the course of saving himself.
