Senior Chief Kapich of Thyolo dies

Death has been announced of Senior Chief Kapichi of Thyolo District.
The late Senior Chief, real name Fyson Mpina, succumbed to High Blood Pressure and Diabetes on Friday, 7th July, 2023 at Malamulo Hospital in Thyolo.
Ministry of Local Government, Culture and Unity has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
He was born on 24th August, 1944. He was installed as Traditional Authority (TA) Kapichi in 2004 and was elevated to Senior Chief Kapichi in 2018.
He is survived by a wife, four children and four grandchildren.
