Demonstrators against same sex marriages in Mangochi have presented their petition to Mangochi district Council.
Led by Bishop Montfort Sitima of the Mangochi Diocese of the Catholic Church, the group marched from Mpondasi Catholic Church to the district council offices and delivered their concerns.
Other religious leaders from Evangelical Association of Malawi, Muslim Association of Malawi, Quadriah Association of Malawi also attended the demonstrations.
The petition aims to address concerns and advocate for the preservation of traditional marriage values and family structures.
