Atohti Manje’s Funeral Ceremony Underway In Mangochi

Minister Richard Chimwendo Banda is among the attendees at the burial of renowned musician Atoht Manje in Sanyira Village, Mangochi.
Legislators, including Nicholas Dausi, have also come to pay their respects.
Chimwendo Banda offered K1 million from President Lazarus Chakwera to console the deceased’s mother.
The government has provided additional support to the grieving family.
Notable artists present at the ceremony include Soldier Lucius Banda, Skeffa Chimoto, Vita Chirwa, Ethel Kamwendo Banda, and Evans Meleka.
Atohti passed away after his performance at the University of Livingstonia in Rumphi.
He leaves behind a wife and four children.
