The Department of Climate Change and Meteorological has said that from today to 26 November 2023 there will be hot weather in many parts of the country.
According to the statement issued by the department, despite the hot weather, thunderstorms will continue to fall in some parts of Lake Malawi as well as in the southern and central regions due to warm and unstable winds from the north.
“Expect hot weather over most area which will be associated with isolated thunderstorms with rain mainly over southern and central areas due to the influence of warm and fairly unstable easterly air mass,’ Part of the statement.
The department has advised people in this country to drink water frequently, to wear light and windproof clothing.
The department also added that when it raining, people should be in safe places, and make sure that houses are well protected.
