FAM electoral committee announces candidates nominated for Elections

Football Association of Malawi (FAM)electoral committee has approved the names of candidates who have been nominated to contest at the forthcoming executive committee elections.

According to a press release signed by the electoral chairperson, James Masumbu indicates the following names as eligible candidates for the elections.

Super league of Malawi president, Fleetwood Haiya and FAM president Water Nyamilandu will battle for FAM presidency.

Former Mighty Mukuru Wanderers official, Christopher Madalisto Kuyera and Former Lilongwe District Lands Officer, James Mwenda will clash for the first vice president slot.

The Chairperson of the Northern Region Football Association, Dr. Khonje and the current FAM second vice president Othaniel Hara will tussle for the position of Second vice president.

Meanwhile, Daud Mtanthiko, Chancy Gondwe, Patrick Kapenga, Bernard Harawa, Raphael Humba, Chimango Munthali and Muhammad Selemani will fight for three slots in the Executive Member committee for the Association.

Women Member Position will be contested by Felister Dossi and Mervis Mangulenje

The Elective General Assembly will be held on Saturday, 16 December in Mzuzu.
