Pastor Hastings Salanje still missing in South Africa

South African based Malawian preacher, Pastor Hastings Salanje who was picked by unknown people on Sunday is still missing.

God’s Chapel Church has confirmed of the development in a statement released few hours ago made available to this publication.

“Good afternoon all the members of God’s Chapel as well as the global followers of God’s Chapel & Pr Hastings Salanje Ministries.

“Kindly note that the situation is still the same and continue to stand with us in prayers during these times,” reads part of the statement.

The church has also blasted those people who taking advantage Salanje’s missing for their own publicity.

This is an indirect response to Prophet Austin Liabunya who recently trashed a call on well-wishers to pray for Salanje.

“We have seen that lot of people are trying to take advantage of such a situation for their own publicity.

“We as God’s Chapel ministries as well as the family of Pr Hastings Salanje will only use this official page to share any updates and communicate to the general public,” added the statement.

“We thus dissociate ourselves from all the other information that is being posted on platforms and only believe what you hear directly from our pages.”

Meanwhile, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has intervened on the matter.
