Jeffrey wa Jeffrey coy on DPP’s Central Executive Meeting set for tomorrow in Mangochi

Estranged Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Secretary General Grezelder Jeffrey has said she is yet to receive formal invitation to attend the Central Executive Committee meeting at Page house in Mangochi tomorrow as summoned by party president Peter Mutharika.

Jeffrey wa Jeffrey who has been relieved of her duties as Secretary General said she has seen the invitation on social media.

Social media is awash with a letter purportedly issued by DPP’s Administrative Secretary Francis Mphepo inviting Jeffrey to the meeting this coming Saturday.

Although the agenda of the meeting is not stated in the letter, rumors have it that Mutharika has called for meeting to discuss issues to do with the court order asking the party to hold elective conference within a period of 90 days.
