Nankhumwa’s followers in Mulanje dumps DPP

Some Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) supporters led by District Governor for Mulanje Smart Ngalande have announced their resignation from the party.
The supporters announced this at Chitsitu in Mulanje.
The disgruntled supporters claim that they are not happy with the decision by the party to fire Member of Parliament for Mulanje Central Constituency Kondwani Nankhumwa.
Nankhumwa was expelled in the party together with Grezelder Jeffrey, Nicholas Dausi, Mark Botomani and Cecilia Chazama.
The senior officials were accused of bringing confusion in the party.
