Death has been announced of Assistant Clerk of Parliament responsible for committees Lawson Chiseko.
Speaker of the National Assembly Catherine Gotani Hara has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying Chitseko died suddenly on Wednesday after knocking off from work.
Hara could not disclose the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of Parliament has since suspended Parliament deliberations to Friday 9:30am.
Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
