Gangata speaks out on his appointment as DPP Vice President

The newly appointed Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for central Region Alfred Gangata has hailed the party leadership for assigning him the Vice Presidency role.
DPP Administrative Secretary Francis Mphepo announced the appointment of Gangata today through a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
Speaking in an interview with the press Gangata said he is deeply happy with the decision by the party to appoint him on the higher post.
He promised to work tirelessly in wooing Malawians to voted DPP back into power in the forthcoming 2025 polls.
DPP is scheduled to hold its elective conference in July this year.
