Two arrested for attempting to chop off private parts of a fellow worker over ‘Kanyenya’

Two people are in police custody in Lilongwe for allegedly attempting to chop off private parts of a fellow friend ‘Kanyenya’.

Lingazi Police spokesperson Cassim Manda has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and identified the two as Kondwani Sekani, 23 and Yamikani Komakoma , 24.

Manda said the two together with the victim works as security guards in Area 43 and on the fateful day they agreed to buy Kanyenya as relish at their duty post.

The three left to search for Kanyenya and in their way back two of them went to a drinking joint.

Upon return the two found that the victim has finished eating the Kanyenya and this angered the two who in retaliation attempted to chop off private parts of the victim.

The victim management to escape and reported the matter to police hence the arrest.

The suspects will appear in court soon.
