LCP President aiding Karonga-Kaporo residents with food and shelter

Despite Leadership with Compassion Party (LCP) being prevented from participating in the past elections for wrong reasons, the president of the party Dr. Sally Kumwenda and the supposedly aspiring candidate Aggrey Mwanyamba, are still continuing to be part and parcel of the Karonga residents’ problems.

Recently residents of Karonga district in Kaporo have been affected by severe water overflow from Lake Malawi. The overflow has resulted in the loss of property including eroded homes, livestock, clothes, food and other items.

The supposedly aspiring councillor candidate Aggrey Mwanyamba rushed to visit the affected residents. About 30 families have been found to be homeless. Meanwhile the president of LCP has provided shelter to the homeless and distributed food to them.

Speaking to Aggrey Mwanyamba he said the affected residents have trust in the leadership of a female president and her coming in to assist them is a sign of good leadership in her.

“No one has ever rushed to rescue us in this ordeal. What Dr. Sally Kumwenda has done for us is very unique. We are failing to thank her. We feel that God should be the one to thank her on our behalf. Right now we are able to sleep properly and eat” said one of the victims.

According to the president of the party, the problem being faced by fellow Malawians need to be sorted out by every concerned citizen.

“I am asking well-wishers to also assist in the situation as our fellow Malawians are currently in need of so many things like food, clothes, blankets, soap etc. Blesses in the hand that giveth than the one that taketh” She said.

Anyone who needs to assist should reach out to Mr Aggrey Mwanyamba on this number 0999 53 95 76.
