Prophetess Mary Bushiri, a wife to Enlighten Christian Gathering the Jesus Nation church founder and general overseer Prophet Shepherd Bushiri engaged women from southern and eastern regions for a one day conference ” dubbed woman on fire conference.
The event was held in Blantyre on 20th April and attracted women from southern and eastern regions.
According to, Pastor Annie Khauya who is ECG church regional pastor for southern and eastern regions, the purpose of the meeting was empowerment, healing and spiritual renewal to women.
Pastor Khauya further stated that the prophetess dwelled much on her teaching on John 14: 16 which says that the Holy Spirit is the helper and comforter.
“Prophetess Bushiri also stressed on the need for women to have Christ in their lives in order to overcome various challenges which they may face in life,” said Pastor Khauya.
In her remarks, Chairperson of the organising committee Ziphilly Sichinga applauded Prophetess Bushiri for honouring an invitation to come and speaks to the women, noting that this will greatly transform women both spiritually and physically.
Prophetess Mary Bushiri also conducted a impartation service on Sartuday, 20th April whereby she prayed for the leaders.
According to organisers of the conference, over 3,000 women attended the conference.
The theme of the conference was miracles, signs and wonders.
