Newly appointed DPP Southern Region Director of women Maria Mainja officially welcomed

The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) on Wednesday officially welcomed the newly appointed Southern region director of women Maria Mainja.
Former President Peter Mutharika who is also DPP leader appointed her into the post two weeks ago ahead of the party’s elective conference in July this year.
National Director of Women, Honourable Mary Navicha MP, expressed her excitement about working with Hon. Mainja.
She praised Mainja for being active and loyal to the party.
On her part, Mainja hailed Mutharika for trusting her with this role and promised not to let the leadership down.
