MP Mary Mpanga appointed as Commissioner of Parliament Service Commission

Parliament has unanimously approved the appointment of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member for Mphalombe South Mary Connie Livuza Mpanga as Commissioner of the Parliamentary Service Commission.
Mpanga’s appointment comes barely a week after the house rejected DPP MP Lonnie Chijere Phiri to replace Dr. George Chaponda who is now serving the post of leader of opposition.
Speaking after the approval of Mpanga, leader of the house Richard Chimwendo Banda congratulated the new commissioner for her appointment.
Chaponda and leader of UDF Lilian Patel also joined Chimwendo Banda in congratulating the lawmaker.
