MCP’s Mwambiraso Mbedza Re-Elected Unopposed as Kasungu District Council Chairperson

Councillor Mwambiraso Mbedza of Lifupa Ward has been re-elected unopposed as the chairperson of Kasungu District Council.
Councillor Nephtali Chikwanda of Mponda has also been re-elected as vice chairperson.
Chikwanda secured his position by defeating Charles Ndinga of Mponda Ward with 7 votes to Ndinga’s 2 votes, while Dyson Kadzanja of Ndonda Ward received no votes.
Both Mbedza and Chikwanda are members of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
