Mob Attack Leaves Suspected Thief in Critical Condition at Thyolo Hospital

Information reaching this publication indicates that a suspected thief, Chifundo Chilvere, is in critical condition at Thyolo District Hospital after being stabbed multiple times by a mob last evening.

Hospital sources indicate that Chilvere, who was reportedly released from prison recently, was attacked in Nansanya village for allegedly stealing his father’s goats.

Luchenza police quickly responded to the scene, rescuing him from a pool of his own blood.

Police have not yet commented on the situation.
