Epileptic Man Drowns in Well While Irrigating Garden in Lilongwe

The news  has been confirmed by Deputy Public Relations Officer for Lilongwe Police, Constable Khumbo Sanyiwa, who explained that Hezekia, who had epilepsy, had gone to tend to his vegetables around 06:00 hours.

According to Sanyiwa, the garden is located approximately one kilometer from his home.

According to Sanyiwa, later in the afternoon, a passerby discovered Hezekia’s body floating in the well and quickly informed his relatives of the accident.

A postmortem conducted at Mitundu Rural Hospital revealed that the cause of death was suffocation.
