Chakwera installed as KUHeS Chancellor

President Lazarus Chakwera has been installed as Chancellor of Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS).
The Chendawaka family through Member of Parliament Ken Kandodo presented a Flywhisk of first President of Malawi the late Hastings Kamuzu Banda to KUHeS, which will be used in its ceremonies.
President Chakwera is currently presiding over the first every graduation of KUHeS following its de-linking from the University of Malawi.
A total of 102 students from 9 programmes are graduating today.
Chakwera has since offered MK200, 000 to students who will graduate with a distinction.
