Former Blue Eagles Striker Newton Gondwe Passes Away

Blue Eagles FC is saddened to announce the death of their former Striker Newton Gondwe.
Gondwe died on Thursday, 20th March 2025 at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital after a short illness.
Announcing the death through the team’s official Facebook page.
Until his death, he was the Malawi Police Service Sub Inspector stationed at Lunzu Police Unit under Blantyre – Police Station.
The body of our former goal poacher will be laid to rest at his home village, Kawazacheyeka, T/A Chikulamayembe, Rumphi District on 22nd March 2025.
