Ntchisi Police Seize 140 Litres of Fuel, Arrest Three

Police in Ntchisi have arrested three people suspected of possessing 140 litres of fuel stored in drums without a permit.
Ntchisi Police spokesperson Salomy Zgambo said the suspects—Levison Chiwunda (36), Everesi Mloza (34), and Kondwani Kamfosi (24)—were arrested yesterday following a tip-off from Kamsonga, the chief of Malenga, in the area.
Zgambo said the suspects will appear in court soon to answer the charges.
In a related development, police also seized 18 scales allegedly used to buy seeds from farmers at illegal prices. The owners, believed to be vendors, fled the scene and are currently at large.
