Information reaching this publication indicates that FCB Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder Yankho Singo has left the country this morning for South Africa, where he is expected to undergo medical tests before sealing a reported two-year deal with Golden Arrows.

The South African top-flight side, which competes in the Betway Premiership, is believed to have initiated the move quietly, with sources revealing that an official announcement from Bullets will only come after Golden Arrows gives the final go-ahead. The club reportedly opted to conclude the deal away from media scrutiny.

Singo has been one of Bullets’ standout performers this season, featuring in every match prior to the June international break. His consistent form is said to have attracted the attention of several regional clubs, but it is Golden Arrows who appear to have won the race for his signature.

While the transfer fee is yet to be officially confirmed, it is understood that Bullets could pocket approximately K70 million from the deal.

If the move is finalized, Singo will become the latest Malawian talent to join the South African league, further cementing Malawi’s growing influence in regional football.
